Helping Yorkshire Go from Chaos to Calm

Caroline A Tidy Mind Yorkshire
Helping Yorkshire Go from Chaos to Calm

Hello, I’m Caroline – Yorkshire’s Home Organiser, ADHD coach, and founder of A Tidy Mind Yorkshire.

Back in 2019, I started A Tidy Mind Yorkshire with a simple goal: to help people feel calmer and more in control in their homes. But over time, I began to notice something deeper. Many of the people I was supporting weren’t just dealing with “too much stuff” – they were navigating ADHD, overwhelm, and environments that simply didn’t work for their brains.

I saw brilliant, capable people who knew what to do but struggled to start. Not because they were lazy, but because their environment was overwhelming their brain. Laundry piles, paperwork chaos, toy explosions… and the constant weight of feeling behind.

I wanted to help ADHD minds feel calm at home – without pressure, judgement, or perfection.

That led me to deepen my understanding, and in 2025 I trained with Gold Mind Academy to become an ADHD coach. My coaching is aligned with ICF competencies and grounded in reflective, compassionate practice. It’s also deeply personal – I recognised so many of the emotional experiences around activation, focus, overwhelm, and self-compassion.

Today, I’m incredibly proud that A Tidy Mind Yorkshire has grown into a supportive, ADHD-aware service helping people create homes that actually work for them. I work alongside five amazing women all fully insured, compassionate, and passionate about offering practical, non-judgemental support.

What makes us different is that we don’t just talk about it – we do it with you.
Alongside coaching, we provide hands-on decluttering and home/life organising support. You don’t need to get organised before we arrive. There is no judgement here – just understanding, practical help, and a way forward when everything feels too much.

Together, we’ve supported hundreds of individuals and families, many with ADHD or neurodivergent traits, to move from overwhelm and frustration to calmer, more manageable spaces. Spaces that reduce stress, support daily life, and bring a sense of relief instead of pressure.

Now, as an ADHD ally and coach, I combine practical organising with specialised ADHD coaching to help you create systems that are realistic, sustainable, and designed for the way your brain actually works – so you can feel calmer, clearer, and free from the guilt of thinking you “should” be coping better.
Because this isn’t about perfection. It’s about creating a home that works for your brain, your life, and your reality.

THE HEART OF A TIDY MIND YORKSHIRE

The People Behind A Tidy Mind Yorkshire

At A Tidy Mind Yorkshire, we’re more than just professional organisers – we’re an ADHD-aware team of fully insured, compassionate, and non-judgemental women who understand how overwhelming home life can feel when your brain is already juggling so much.

We work with people who aren’t lazy or disorganised – just overloaded, busy, and often stuck knowing what needs doing but struggling to start or keep things going.
Together, we bring warmth, practical support, and real understanding to every client we work with. We know that for ADHD minds, clutter isn’t just physical – it’s mental, emotional, and constant.

That’s why we don’t just “tidy up.”

We help reduce overwhelm, create simple systems that actually work in real life, and support you in a way that feels manageable, not pressured.

Because decluttering and organising isn’t about perfection or having it all together. It’s about creating a home that feels calmer, clearer, and easier to live in – for your brain, your life, and your reality.
